The 7th Annual Streets of Bakersfield Cruizin' Shine (Second Weekend of October 2024
October 10th-12th, 2024
Cruizin-4-Charity is a Non-Profit 501(c)(3) organization that is focused on giving back to our community. We want to thank all the Sponsors, Volunteers and Participants for another successful year. This was by far our biggest year to date and continues to grow each year.
So far we have been able to give over $165,000 back to our community and we look forward to our 7th Annual Event by giving back to local charities. For 2023 all of our proceeds were donated to the California Highway Patrolmen Widows and Orphans Trust Fund. This trust fund is to be used to help support the families of our local fallen officers.
This year, the proceeds from the event will be donated to local charity to stay in line with our mission of giving back to our local heroes.

Participant & Spectator 3-Day Event Schedule
Our Annual Charity event in The Streets of Bakersfield features 3 days of fun activities & great entertainment for the whole family. This is the Largest Street Car Show in Bakersfield and it continues to grow each year. This is open for anyone to participate as a car enthusiast and enter your ride as a participant for all to enjoy. This is also open and free to the community. Spectators are welcome to enjoy all 3-Days at No Cost. The goal of this event is to gather as Car, Truck and Motorcycle Enthusiast by paying it forward and to give back to our community.

This event is put on by a group of dedicated vehicle enthusiast that come together each year as volunteers. We could not do this with out both our Dedicated Sponsors and Volunteers each and every year.
Thursday (October 10th, 2024)
Meet & Greet Buck Owen's Crystal Palace Style
Meet & greet/registration 3pm - 7pm
Join us for Dinner & Concert (Make Dinner Reservation with Crystal Palace) Doors Open at 5pm
- Registration Open (3pm - 7pm).....Pickup registration packet for event
- VIP parking for ultimate builds
- Enjoy a meet and greet with dinner and entertainment
- Show car parking
** This is open to the public to get a preview of the rides and enjoy dinner and concert with us. Please make reservations directly with Buck Owens for dinner
Friday (October 11th, 2024)
Chester Ave. Open Header Cruise Night
Open Header Cruise from 7pm-9pm
**Free Spectators. Participants must have a window placard and have paid for event registration to Cruise the closed course.......
- Participant Registration Open 4pm - 7pm (21st and H Street)
- Food available for sale
- Preview of ultimate builds
- Downtown Chester open header cruise night
** Parade of Hot Rods is FREE to Spectators. Spectator to use local public parking. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy our downtown with the rumble of the cruising Oldies. Only Paid Participants can Cruise Chester during Closed Course.
Saturday (October 12th, 2024)
Downtown Bakersfield
** Spectators are Free to attend from 9am - 4pm. We would love for you to come see us at the Registration and Merchandise Booth to give a donation. All Proceeds benefit our local community Charity.
- Participant Registration Open - 6am - 9am (21st and H Street)
- Open for Parking - 7am - 9am (Enter event at 17th Street or 21st Street)
- Award Judging - 9am–12pm (Check out our Trophy List and Classes page to see what awards you can qualify for!)
- Winner Circle - 1pm - 3pm (21st Street and Chester)
- Award Ceremony - 3pm
(NO CARS PARKED ON CHESTER AVE. WILL BE ALLOWED TO LEAVE EVENT UNTIL AFTER AWARDS ARE COMPLETE)
