Open Header Cruise – 7pm-9pm
FREE for spectators!! To cruise the closed course, show participants must have a window placard and paid event registration.
- Participant Registration Open – 4pm – 7pm (21st and L Street)

- Downtown Chester Open Header Cruise Night
** Parade of Hot Rods is FREE to Spectators! Spectators, please use local public parking. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy downtown with the rumble of the cruising oldies. Only paid participants can cruise Chester during the closed course.
Saturday, October 11th
Downtown Bakersfield
Free to spectators from 9am – 4pm. Visit us at the Registration and Merchandise Booth to make a donation. All proceeds benefit local community charities.
- Participant Registration Open – 6am – 9am (21st and H Street)
- Participant Parking Open – 7am – 9am (Enter event at 17th or 21st Street)
- Award Judging – 9am–12pm (Check out our Trophy List and Classes page to see what awards you can qualify for!)
- Winner Circle – 1pm – 3pm (21st Street and Chester)
- Award Ceremony – 3pm
**Please note: Cars parked on Chester Ave. will not be allowed to leave the event until after the awards are complete.
Day Of Registration Fee $75
